ASV Global is seeking an engineer with experience developing algorithms for real-time sensor processing. Our vessels are equipped with a variety of sensors from LIDARS to HD cameras. You will join the team responsible for improving our sensing capabilities. You will write real time code to process and fuse data from multiple sensors to get an accurate and consistent representation of the state of the world. This involves sensor fusion, segmentation, tracking, and prediction of contacts, as well as localization for our own ship.
The more information we have, the more effectively we can operate autonomously, so you will ensure that we have as much information as possible. Your work will directly affect the overall performance and safety of our vessels and those around us. You should be familiar with the state-of-the-art in sensor processing and committed to staying up to date with the latest developments.
