Inflatable Towed Target
ASV produces a range of towed targets for gunnery training and trials applications. The targets can be manufactured from a wide range of designs in inflatable Hypalon, PVC or Aluminium materials.The tow targets can be towed from the ASV range of remotely operated FMTD craft (3.5-13m).
The target has been designed and tested to offer a higher level of stability and seakeeping than conventional cylinder type targets. The inflatable targets have multiple chambers to ensure a high level of survivability but also offer a visual indication of when hit.
The chambers can be repaired or if necessary the individual cylinders replaced. All targets can be supplied with radar and thermal enhancement, missed distance indicators (MDI) and video
camera systems.
