Portsmouth, UK (14th November 2011) - ASV Ltd has built a C-Target3 unmanned surface vehicle for sister company C&C Technologies Lafayette, USA. The vehicle will be used as a development and demonstration platform for unmanned vehicle and survey technologies from both companies.
ASV Ltd. has recently been awarded a contract by the Ministry of Defence’s (MOD) Defence Science and Technology Laboratory (Dstl) for the Provision of Remote Controlled Naval Surface Target Systems and Associated Capabilities. Under this contract the company will supply, operate, store and maintain a range of remotely operated craft from 3.5-13m in length.

The vessel will be used for automated water quality sampling on lakes and rivers.
Portsmouth, UK (May 31, 2011) – ASV Ltd. has been awarded a contrPortsmouth, UK (May 31, 2011) – ASV Ltd. has been awarded a contract to provide Tiandong Technology Ltd with a C-CAT 4 USV. The vehicle will be used as a platform for water quality monitoring in bodies of water throughout China.
The vessel undertook proving trials in the UK before being transported to the US where C&C engineers have since added a sidescan sonar,multibeam sonar and mission control computer. The vessel is currently on a trials and demonstration program to a range of government agencies.
